On December 11, 2020, our 1 yr old Cane Corso, Nova was taken from us by Animal Care and Control (ACC) We took Nova to Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Center(AAVEC) on Dec 10th because a collar that was placed on him in Oct had become too small and broke his skin. Nova was successfully treated and released back to us on Dec 10th. However, ACC without any supporting information came to our home Dec 11th with Anne Arundel County Police who had a search warrant and took Nova away. The Officer who subsequently took Nova stated that other then the collar injury Nova was completely healthy.  Like many pet owners would agree, our pets are family, they're like our children.  We have 4 children, ages ranging from 2 to 14 yrs old, who love and adore Nova. We followed all of the instructions given by ACC on how to get Nova back. However, it has been said that in MD, the courts tend to side with ACC on cases like this.  Which is why we are asking for you to help us bring Nova back home.
