The ice cream song that most of us have grown up hearing is not what it seems. It was originally a song written to degrade African Americans. The lyrics to the chorus are "N***** love a watermelon Ha ha ha ha." This song needs to change as it is just another reminder of the way so many people were treated simply because of their skin color. We shouldn't have to raise our children hearing something so discriminatory regularly. I understand that a lot of people have come to love the song, but I think we could love any song that we associate with ice cream.
