In recent weeks, Tennessee has been number one in the nation for new COVID cases, making it imperative that Belmont University follows national guidelines for areas with high exposure risk. Belmont must join with other Nashville universities in the fight against COVID-19 through evidence-based policies, to protect students and faculty.

We ask that President Dr. Jones and other decision-makers at Belmont:

- Mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for all students and faculty

- Prioritize social distancing on campus

- Enforce Belmont's mask mandate

- Offer alternative online options for students who feel ill, are exposed to COVID-19, or test positive for COVID-19

As a part of the Belmont community, we feel morally and spiritually obligated to do everything in our power to protect friends, family, professors, and classmates from COVID-19. As a Doctor of Nursing student at Belmont who is immunocompromised, I thank you for your support in keeping our community safe!
