I think that we need synchronous Wednesdays because you can get the help and guidance you need. For an asynchronous Wednesday, to get help on a problem on the homework, you'd have to email the teacher. They might get to your letter right away and help you, but other times it might take a while. They could be on a call, or offline, and then you'd have to wait for some time, or do without them.

  Secondly, asynchronous Wednesdays are too unorganized. Different teachers have different ways of keeping attendance. They could have you like a comment, go into a quick meeting, or complete a worksheet. But sometimes students get confused and to the teacher is seems like they aren't present. Then the teacher will email the student, who would say that they were here. Than there's big mess the teacher has to sort out, and keep in mind that there are a lot of students in BSD.  If there are synchronous Wednesdays, than you can just look in your calendar, click the meeting, and be marked as present.

 Finally, I think we need synchronous Wednesdays because you can organise your time better. Keep in mind that we don't get as much homework as in actual school. In asynchronous Wednesdays, you could dawdle at one assignment for too long and forget about everything else, or you could wake up super late and get everything done in a hurry. Synchronous Wednesdays have a time frame of 40 min per worksheet, so you have an organised time frame to get to everything. This is also a good habit to keep.
