BHVR to give refunds to people who bought Pinhead
The Issue
Following the reveal that BHVR's 'Hellraiser' DLC content will be used to create NFTs, understandably, many players are upset.
NFTs are extremely harmful to the environment and as a result many people want nothing to do with them. That is why it was very shocking for players to discover that their money had gone towards a partnership which involved NFTs, and that their money would be supporting an organisation that planned to create NFTs.
It feels deceiving that they did not disclose this information when the DLC went live, as some feel they likely avoided the subject purposely because they knew players would take issue with it. Many people feel like they've been taken advantage of, as their money has supported an NFT organisation without their consent.
For many people, this feels like the straw that broke the camel's back. There are many nagging issues that players have had with the game and company over the past few years, and to discover that they would be ignorant enough to enter into a partnership involving NFTs is very shocking. In other words, our expectations for you were low but oh my god.
More surprisingly, many of the developers at BHVR are just now finding out about this as well, and are equally mortified to discover they may have worked on a project that supports NFTs.

This petition aims to showcase the anger and disgust players feel at these practices, and more notably, at BHVR's silence over the topic. We will not stay silent; this petition serves as a way for us to gather evidence of our frustrations, and to showcase just how big of an issue this is for BHVR's playerbase.
