As a resident of Franklin County, I am deeply disturbed by the lack of transparency, accountability, and alleged criminal activities of our current Governor Sanders. The leadership of our government officials should uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity. But, unfortunately, we've been subjects of a leadership that has deviated from these principles.

Governor Sanders' activities have indicated a clear pattern of corruption and lack of accountability. Her actions not only tarnish the prestige of our governor's office but also erode public trust in our institutions. This goes against the core principles of democracy.

The lack of openness in her activities has created a murky environment of politics where citizens are left in the dark. Transparency International's Global Corruption Barometer in 2019 found that transparency is the key to rebuilding trust in government institutions. It is only when citizens can scrutinize the actions of their elected representatives that they can hold them accountable.

As a community, we deserve leaders who are committed to our shared ideals of honesty, transparency, and accountability. It’s time to demand that our elected officials uphold these principles or face the consequences.

Therefore, we call for the commencement of impeachment proceedings against Governor Sanders. We deserve leaders who put the citizenry first, above personal interests. We must put a stop to corruption and recover our local government. We humbly ask for your signature to ensure that our voices are heard.
