Not only are the mandatory mask mandates in Beaufort County, not backed by science, they are fascist in nature.  Masks cause more harm than good.  They don't protect against the spread of Covid-19. They lower oxygen levels which lowers the immune system. They create a moist environment for viruses and bacteria to stick to. The holes in the masks are bigger than the virus. They increase Co2 toxicity. Countless doctors and experts have gone on record explaining the dangers and ineffectiveness of wearing masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Using the threat of force in terms of fines and/or imprisonment to mandate people to wear masks is fascism. We will not stand for fascism in our county, our state, or our country. We are a free people.
