Over the first few days of the start of virtual schooling in Beaufort County, South Carolina, specifically Beaufort High School, many of my friends and fellow classmates have expressed that this is the worst schooling they have ever experienced. Many find that this form of online schooling through the "Virtual SC" program, is far too confusing and has many issues. To quote just a few of their stances:

"Why did the school choose to do work on f***ing Virtual SC, it's so hard and stupid and I hate it. I was perfectly fine using Google Classroom."

"I can't even get into half my stuff."

"I have the worst ability to learn over a device."

"I've already cried once today because it's so confusing."

"I'm very stressed with this program and I've considered dropping out."

Many have expressed that the former online schooling through Google Classroom, was far better as it was familiar and easy to navigate and use.

Quote, "I feel like I'd be okay if it were just over Google Classroom, but they chose, yet again, to use some obscure service that we don't know how to use."

Another says, "Some people have either been in or on the verge of a breakdown because of Zoom and Virtual SC, then some teachers want to 'Switch to Virtual SC' Like, no!"

Prior to online schooling Google Classroom was used, and it's clear that more teachers and students are prepared to use Google Classroom. Some teachers have even expressed their distaste for the Virtual SC program saying, "I know it's new, and I don't like it either."
