Several News Reports say that Christians in India are being under great crisis and often death threaten are given through out India.
On June 8, 2020 – A 14 Year old Christian boy was allegedly crushed to death with stone by a group of people in Odisha’s Malkangiri , news was published in India Today Magazine.
By Indian Constitution articles 25 to 28 implying that the State will not discriminate, patronise or meddle in the profession of any religion. However, it shields individual religions or groups by adding religious rights as fundamental rights.
Article 25 says "all persons are equally entitled to freedom of conscience and the right to freely profess, practice, and propagate religion subject to public order, morality and health.
" Further, Article 26 says that all denominations can manage their own affairs in matters of religion. All these rights are subject to be regulated by the State.
Murder (law of India) In India according to Section 300 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, murder is defined as follows: Murder. --Except in the cases hereinafter excepted, culpable homicide is murder, if the act by which the death is caused is done with the intention of causing death, or- 167 2ndly.
14 year old christian guy in Orissa who died by stoned by group of people's is an offense under Section 300, Of the Indian Penal Code 1860
Therefore, we request you to take action against such activity and safeguard the people of religious minorities
