Animals cannot speak for themselves, but we can be their voice to speak for their rights. 

Countless animals suffering from abuse every day; I think it's time for us to make a stand on their behalf. This petition asks for serious change to save innocent animals's lives. We are calling the attention of governments, institutions, and individuals to make it lead to a world where animals have their rights to live with respect and be treated equally, just like you and I do. 

We are calling for governments attention to strengthen laws that protect animals from abuse, including Republic Act No. 8485. An act to promote animal welfare in the Philippines, otherwise known as "The Animal Welfare Act of 1998." This law protects and promotes the welfare of all animals in the Philippines by supervising and regulating the establishment and operation of all facilities utilized for breeding, maintaining, keeping, treating, or training all animals, either as objects of trade or as household pets. 

We also have Republic Act 10631. This law strengthens the Animal Welfare Act of 1998 by providing stricter penalties for animal abuse. It includes higher fines and longer imprisonment terms for offenders.

We are also asking the governments to provide more shelter for those animals abandoned by their owners, and animals grow without permanent shelter.
