Building Materials Imported Provide Safety and Liability Risks to HOMEOWNERS!

Under the HOME WARRANTY INSURANCE that homeowners pay the premium for; do you know...
Q: Who is responsible when a builder is purchasing non‑conforming imported products and are of poor construction quality and not to Australian Standards? e.g. window and doors
A: The Homeowner..... As the QBCC advise it's not a defect but a product issue, so the QBCC Licensee isn't directed to rectify.
Q: What if these "product issue" items are electrical and installed in your home safe?
A: Did you know the QBCC doesn't deal with electrical issues?
Q: There is a water leak from roof and has caused insulation damage?
A: Did you know that the QBCC don't cover insulation under your Home Warranty Insurance?
As the Homeowner you pay a premium for Home Warranty Insurance (HWI) on you contract price, but that premium DOES NOT INCLUDE all of the contract item. So why are homeowners paying a premium on the whole contract amount and not just what is covered under the HWI.
HOMEOWNER BEWARE - there is a long list of items the QBCC don't tell you aren't covered for.
