PETITION: A Strategic and Humanitarian Call for a Democratic Iran

To Whom Democracy is Still a Value, and Human Life Matters,

We, the undersigned, address you at a moment of historical urgency. The struggle in Iran is no longer a localized protest; it is a global confrontation between democratic aspirations and a regime that uses "Political Islam" as a blueprint for domestic terror. Since the state-orchestrated massacres of January 2026, the world has witnessed a level of brutality that challenges our collective humanity.

We call for a unified global stance on the following points:

1. The Strategic Distinction: Faith vs. State Ideology We ask you to join us in condemning "Political Islam" as an authoritarian political project. This is not a critique of Islam as a faith, but of a governing system that instrumentalizes religion to legitimize atrocities. By stripping the Supreme Leader of his "divine" legitimacy, we protect both the Iranian people and the integrity of faith from a regime that issues orders to "shoot to kill and show no mercy.”

2. An Escalating Humanitarian Catastrophe While the initial street protests have been met with lethal force, the level of atrocities is still being unmasked and is on the rise:

• The Uncounted Dead: The verified death toll of 5,200 on Jan 18 was only the beginning. As the internet was partially restored, thousands of "unknown" victims in morgues like Kahrizak are being identified, suggesting the true toll is significantly higher (an estimate of above 20,000 reported by UN on 22nd of Jan 2026, and above 36,000 by Iran International News Agency on 25th of Jan 2026)
• Silent Executions: A "silent" wave of executions is currently underway in prisons. Without public trials or legal representation, hundreds of detainees are being hanged at dawn to terrorize the nation into submission.
• The Persecution of Healers: The circle of victims has expanded to include the heroic medical community. Doctors and nurses who treated the wounded in secret "villa clinics" are now being disappeared, arrested, and tortured for fulfilling their Hippocratic Oath.
   

3. Dismantling the Blackout and Disinformation

• The Internet: We demand international coordination to ensure permanent, unfiltered internet access for Iran. Blackouts are the shroud under which massacres occur.
• Conspiracy Theories: We call on the academic community to reject narratives that claim these protests are "foreign-instigated." To suggest that Iranians risk the bludgeoning and "eye-socket collapses" seen in January as "puppets" is a defense of the oppressor and a denial of human agency.

4. Realism in Diplomacy: The Failure of Appeasement History shows the Islamic Republic uses diplomacy only to regain strength. A regime that treats its citizens as hostages and targets children with live ammunition will never be a sincere actor. The hospitals turned into "war zones" and the "lines of body bags" are proof that this regime is not a stable partner, but a global liability.

5. Urgent Request for Targeted Military Intervention
This is no longer a domestic policing issue; it is a state-orchestrated massacre. We directly call upon the international community and the U.S. administration to lead a targeted military intervention specifically designed to:

• Neutralize the Tools of Mass Repression: Disable the command-and-control centers, drone launch sites, and motorized units of the IRGC and Basij that are currently being used to execute civilians in the streets.
• Establish Humanitarian Corridors: Use strategic force to ensure that medical supplies can reach hospitals and that the wounded are not abducted from their beds by regime militias.
• Surgical Decapitation of the Repression Apparatus: We seek the dismantling of the regime’s specialized tools of terror, not a full-scale occupation or a war against the Iranian people

6. Immediate Protection of Life

We demand the immediate release of all political prisoners and the cessation of the execution machine. No government has the right to treat its people as an enemy to be exterminated.

7. Economic Viability and Post-Liberation Reconstruction
We emphasize that a transition to democracy in Iran is not only a moral necessity but a global economic win. We are committed to a future where:

• Resource Reallocation: Iran’s strategic energy resources—currently funneled to Russia and China to bypass sanctions—will be returned to the global market.
• Self-funded Libration & Transitional Authority: We propose that the financial requirements for this targeted intervention and the subsequent reconstruction be managed through Iran’s sovereign wealth, including its oil and gold reserves. To facilitate this & fill the void once regime is ended, we recognize His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi as the legitimate transitional leader capable of negotiating these terms. In this capacity, His Imperial Highness can enter into binding agreements on behalf of the Iranian nation, ensuring that the liberation of the Iranian people is achieved without imposing a net economic burden on Western taxpayers, while strictly adhering to the principle of national fiscal responsibility.
• Strategic Partnership: A free Iran will act as a stabilizing pillar in the Middle East, ending the era of state-funded proxy wars and ensuring long-term global energy security.

Conclusion: A Call to the Left and Right 

Defending Iran is not about "imperialism" vs. "anti-imperialism." It is about the fundamental right to exist. As families bury their children with cheers for "the fallen flower given to the nation," we ask you:

Be our voice. Stand with a democratic Iran.

دادخواست: فراخوان استراتژیک و بشردوستانه برای ایران دموکراتیک

خطاب به تمامی کسانی که دموکراسی هنوز برایشان یک ارزش است و جان انسان‌ها اهمیت دارد

ما امضاکنندگان این متن، در این لحظه حساس تاریخی شما را خطاب قرار می‌دهیم. مبارزه در ایران دیگر یک اعتراض محلی نیست؛ بلکه یک رویارویی جهانی میان آرمان‌های دموکراتیک و رژیمی است که از «اسلام سیاسی» به عنوان نقشه‌ای برای ترور داخلی و بی‌ثباتی بین‌المللی استفاده می‌کند. از زمان کشتارهای سازمان‌یافته دولتی در ژانویه ۲۰۲۶، جهان شاهد سطحی از توحش بوده است که وجدان جمعی بشریت را به چالش می‌کشد.

ما خواهان یک موضع واحد جهانی در موارد زیر هستیم:

۱. تمایز استراتژیک: دین در برابر ایدئولوژی دولتی

از شما می‌خواهیم در محکومیت «اسلام سیاسی» به عنوان یک پروژه سیاسی اقتدارگرا با ما همراه شوید. این نقدی بر اسلام به عنوان یک دین نیست، بلکه نقد نظام حاکمی است که مذهب را برای مشروعیت بخشیدن به جنایات ابزار می‌کند. با سلب مشروعیت «الهی» از رهبری که دستور «شلیک به قصد کشت و بدون شفقت» صادر می‌کند، ما هم از مردم ایران و هم از حرمت دین در برابر بهره‌برداری سیاسی محافظت می‌کنیم.

۲. فاجعه بشردوستانه در حال گسترش و اعدام‌های خاموش

اگرچه سرکوب وحشیانه خیابانی در ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ انجام شد، اما ابعاد این جنایات همچنان در حال رونمایی و افزایش است:

کشتار بی‌پایان: آمار تایید شده ۵۲۰۰ کشته تنها آغاز ماجراست. با بازیابی تدریجی اینترنت، شناسایی هزاران قربانی «ناشناس» در سردخانه‌هایی مانند کهریزک نشان می‌دهد که آمار واقعی به مراتب فراتر از تصورات است.برآورد بیش از ۲۰٬۰۰۰ نفر که توسط سازمان ملل در تاریخ ۲۲ ژانویهٔ ۲۰۲۶ گزارش شد، و بیش از ۳۶٬۰۰۰ نفر که توسط شبکهٔ خبری ایران اینترنشنال در تاریخ ۲۵ ژانویهٔ ۲۰۲۶ اعلام گردید

اعدام‌های خاموش: موجی از «اعدام‌های خاموش» در زندان‌ها در جریان است. صدها بازداشتی بدون محاکمه علنی یا دسترسی به وکیل، در سپیده‌دم به دار آویخته می‌شوند تا جامعه را غرق در وحشت و سکوت کنند.
آزار و شکنجه التیام‌دهندگان: حلقه قربانیان به جامعه قهرمان پزشکی گسترش یافته است. پزشکان و پرستارانی که مجروحان را در کلینیک‌های مخفی مداوا کرده‌اند، اکنون ربوده، بازداشت و به جرم وفاداری به سوگند پزشکی خود شکنجه می‌شوند.
 

۳. برچیدن خاموشی اطلاع‌رسانی و مقابله با اطلاعات گمراه‌کننده

اینترنت: ما خواهان هماهنگی بین‌المللی برای تضمین دسترسی دائمی و بدون فیلتر ایران به اینترنت هستیم. قطع اینترنت، کفنی است که جنایات در زیر آن رخ می‌دهد.
تئوری‌های توطئه: ما از جامعه دانشگاهی می‌خواهیم روایت‌هایی که مدعی هستند این اعتراضات «توسط خارجی‌ها تحریک شده» را رد کنند. القای این که ایرانیان خطر شکنجه و «تخلیه چشم با گلوله‌های جنگی» را صرفاً به عنوان «آلت دست» می‌پذیرند، انکار اراده دموکراتیک مردم و دفاع از سرکوبگر است.
 

۴. واقع‌گرایی در دیپلماسی: شکست سیاست تماشای منفعلانه

تاریخ نشان می‌دهد که جمهوری اسلامی از دیپلماسی تنها برای بازیافتن قدرت استفاده می‌کند. رژیمی که با شهروندان خود مانند گروگان رفتار می‌کند و کودکان را هدف گلوله مستقیم قرار می‌دهد، هرگز شریکی صادق نخواهد بود. بیمارستان‌هایی که به «منطقه جنگی» تبدیل شده‌اند، گواه آن است که این رژیم یک دارایی باثبات نیست، بلکه یک تهدید جهانی است.

۵. درخواست فوری برای مداخله نظامی هدفمند
این دیگر یک مسئله‌ی انتظامی داخلی نیست؛ این یک قتل‌عام سازمان‌یافته توسط دولت است. ما مستقیماً از جامعه بین‌المللی و دولت ایالات متحده می‌خواهیم که یک مداخله نظامی هدفمند را رهبری کنند که به طور مشخص برای اهداف زیر طراحی شده باشد:

از کار انداختن ابزارهای سرکوب جمعی: نابودی مراکز فرماندهی و کنترل، سایت‌های پرتاب پهپاد و واحدهای موتوری سپاه و بسیج که در حال حاضر برای اعدام شهروندان در خیابان‌ها استفاده می‌شوند.
ایجاد کریدورهای بشردوستانه: استفاده از قدرت استراتژیک برای اطمینان از رسیدن تجهیزات پزشکی به بیمارستان‌ها و جلوگیری از ربودن مجروحان از تخت‌های بیمارستان توسط شبه‌نظامیان رژیم.
فلج کردن ابزار سرکوب با جراحی دقیق: ما به دنبال برچیدن ابزارهای تخصصی ترورِ رژیم هستیم، نه اشغال نظامی کامل یا جنگ علیه مردم ایران.
۶. حفاظت فوری از جان انسان‌ها
ما خواهان آزادی فوری تمامی زندانیان سیاسی و توقف ماشین اعدام هستیم. هیچ حکومتی حق ندارد با مردم خود به عنوان دشمنی رفتار کند که باید ریشه‌کن و نابود شود.

۷. توجیه اقتصادی و بازسازی پس از آزادی
ما تأکید می‌کنیم که گذار به دموکراسی در ایران نه تنها یک ضرورت اخلاقی، بلکه یک پیروزی برای اقتصاد جهانی است. ما متعهد به آینده‌ای هستیم که در آن:

تخصیص مجدد منابع: منابع استراتژیک انرژی ایران — که در حال حاضر برای دور زدن تحریم‌ها به سمت روسیه و چین سرازیر می‌شود — به بازار جهانی بازگردانده خواهد شد.
آزادی با تأمین مالی داخلی و دولتِ انتقالی  : ما پیشنهاد می‌کنیم که هزینه‌های این مداخله نظامی هدفمند و بازسازی‌های پس از آن، از محل دارایی‌های حاکمیتی ایران، از جمله ذخایر نفت و طلا، تأمین گردد. این اقدام تضمین می‌کند که جامعه جهانی می‌تواند بدون تحمیل بار مالی بر مالیات‌دهندگان غربی، به مردم ایران یاری رساند. در این راستا، ما شاهزاده رضا پهلوی را به عنوان چهره‌ای کلیدی در دوران گذار معرفی می‌کنیم؛ رهبری که صلاحیت لازم برای مذاکره و عقد قراردادهای راهبردی به نمایندگی از ملت ایران را داراست تا تحقق این فرآیند با تکیه بر منابع ملی و مسئولیت‌پذیری تضمین شود.
شراکت استراتژیک: یک ایرانِ آزاد به عنوان ستون ثبات در خاورمیانه عمل خواهد کرد، به عصر جنگ‌های نیابتی با حمایت دولتی پایان خواهد داد و امنیت بلندمدت انرژی در جهان را تضمین خواهد کرد.

نتیجه‌گیری: فراخوانی خطاب به تمامی جریانات سیاسی

دفاع از ایران درباره «امپریالیسم در برابر ضد امپریالیسم» نیست؛ بلکه درباره حق بنیادین برای بقا است. در حالی که خانواده‌ها فرزندان خود را نه با شیون، بلکه با فریاد «این گل پرپر شده، هدیه به میهن شده» به خاک می‌سپارند، از شما می‌پرسیم:

صدای ما باشید. در کنار ایران دموکراتیک بایستید.
