Yesterday we got the sad news that Peter Capaldi will step down as the 12th doctor on Doctor Who after this years Christmas special. Peter has been an amazing doctor and I truly wish he could go on for longer but as the doctor said before his last regeneration "Times change and so must I". As sad as this is we now go back to the exiting time of trying to figure out who the new doctor is going to be. Some want a male , some a female, some want an unknown like Matt Smith was while others want a more established actor to take on this iconic role.

Well this time I want to be a part of the hunt and I want as many of you as possible to join me in getting my favorite candidate into the Tardis for the Doctors next big adventure, and that candidate is Tim Roth.

Mr. Roth has expressed an interest in not only taking over the role but being the one to take over for Capaldi so this could not be more of a perfect choice. Anyone who knows his body of work will recognize the possibilities for an amazing portrait of the doctor if he gets the role.

Of course BBC are the ones making the decision and for all we know the next doctor is already cast, but it never hurts to give it a try

With his manic performance, star quality, great voice and body language and huge acting range on top of the fact that he really wants to do this I really feel there is no better candidate for the next doctor.
