Historically when filming wildlife programs people are told not to intervene, to a degree this is right, we should not get involved in the food chain, however there are circumstances when we SHOULD help, we; as humans are part of this planet and have evolved to help the weakest of our own race so why shouldn’t we help and get involved with endangered animals in the wild, when a young elephant is dying of thirst due to delayed rains and drought we should intervene! Give it water this will not have any negative effect on the wildlife it will only help give an elephant a fighting chance at life, we wouldn’t think twice about doing this for a domestic animal so why are wild animals any different?
