I am asking anyone who will listen for Bill Bailey to be nominated as the ideal candidate for the UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Having been on the receiving end of Null Points this year, I do not want the British Government to pay good money into the Eurovision kitty only to be embarrassed by the outcome. 

Bill Bailey is a legend and has a huge fan base and worldwide following. Not only is he an extremely talented musician, and comic genius, but his stage presence and ability to create a party atmosphere from a paper bag would be enough to win votes just by walking on stage.

It has been reported from a respected newspaper and indeed from Mr Bailey himself that he would not be averse to the idea of representing the UK next year at the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Italy. So please, if you have ears to hear, then hear, if you have influence to influence, please do so, and if you have a choice in the matter, please let us get Bill Bailey on that stage in 2022 and give us all something to look forward to after what has been a very challenging time.
