BBC ‘TWO GETHER ‘
Will you help elderly and vulnerable people to stay connected without the internet?

So many of us are finding the online world a real comfort during this crisis to keep our spirits up and feel connected to each other.
But what if you are unable to access this world?
I am worried about the most vulnerable in our society, the over 70’s, those suffering mental and physical illnesses and the poorest members of our communities, without the devices needed.
I am asking for BBC 2 to help keep these people company with an all day, every day programme with well loved presenters, offering uplifting exercise and well being content, updates on covid 19 without dwelling on death tolls as news channels do, and classic films, comedies, sporting matches and nature programmes.
Religious services for those missing their faith communities could be a life line for many people.
All brought together by the presenters kind and cheerful chats in between programmes, speaking directly to those isolated, to make them feel that they are not alone.
Elderly people will soon have to pay the BBC license fee, they deserve our support.
Let’s show them how much we care.
Let’s make this happen.
Let’s get through this ‘Two gether’
