In 2014, it was announced that there would no longer be EastEnders Omnibuses as of April 2015. While there are catch-up services such as Sky+, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer, the EastEnders Omnibus was useful to the viewing public who liked coming home and watching a full week's worth of the show in one episode, rather than having to search for the various separate episodes. The public had the ability to watch it live on a late Friday evening on BBC One or alternatively record the Omnibus to watch at a later time.

All other popular British soaps still have an Omnibus, therefore it is a real shame that the BBC have made this decision to cease the EastEnders weekly Omnibuses, as the show still and always will remain one of the most popular television shows in the UK.

It is a real shame that we've lost such a useful opportunity to watch such a brilliant show. As a viewer on BBC iPlayer due to a heavy working schedule when an episode originally airs on BBC One, there are times where I find it difficult to watch the show as I have no access to the internet from home. Bringing the EastEnders Omnibus back would be so much easier for myself and I am sure for many other big fans in the UK!
