Many children struggle with reading due to a lack of access to books, learning materials, and proper guidance, which affects their confidence, education, and future opportunities. This petition urges the government, local government units (LGUs), barangays, schools, and private organizations to take action by providing free reading programs, enhanced reading comprehension initiatives, increased access to books and learning resources, additional teachers and volunteers, and parental support to help children develop strong literacy skills.  By strengthening reading programs within schools and communities, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to read, understand, and apply knowledge effectively, regardless of their financial situation.
