Bart Baker was, and still is the king of music video parodies. His videos were always in great quality, and it was always fun to see how he treated each song and artist. Everything was so great about these videos: the acting, the locations, the editing, the lyrics. They all looked almost identical to the original music videos. A lot of effort was put into each one, for sure.

But then, a couple years ago YouTube started to drop channels that weren't family friendly from their preferred program, meaning that Bart couldn't make enough money to keep making these. Especially since he left Maker Studios and had to pay all the costs himself.

Nowadays Bart lives in China and is making Chinese TikTok videos (Check out the documentary by Vice on YouTube). He seemes happy, which is great. But I can't possibly be the only one who misses his YouTube videos? Earlier this year he was planning to do a "I Don't Care" parody. Sadly it didn't happen. But this has to mean he still wants to make them.

What I'm hoping to do with this petition is to show Bart that we want his content on YouTube. And also to show YouTube that we want content that is a little bit edgy. People are free to choose what to watch, there's no reason to practically demonetize someone just cause their content isn't suitable for all ages. If YouTube doesn't do anything and money still is an issue, I would gladly subscribe to a Patreon or something like that, and I'm sure a lot of other people would too.
