Hello my name is Nick Fulton and I have been heavily involved in the local BMX and Skateboard community for over two decades, I’m very proud to be a Cumbrian rider as I believe we have one of the best communities in the UK however we simply don’t have the facilities to match the riding, especially with the recent closure of the local indoor skatepark here. 

I have made it my social responsibility and personal mission to build a new skatepark that reflects the local community and gives people of all backgrounds and ages a safe place to hone their skill and express themselves through alternative cultures such as BMX, skateboarding and scootering. 

I recently attended a 6 weeks course and am honoured to be apart of Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnerships and have there full support and backing moving forward, this will help the dream become a reality! 

this will be the first step on our journey showing that there is a place for such a facility, collecting signatures and showing them to the powers that be that this means a lot to our community.
