Yates County New York, specifically the Town of Barrington is holding a public hearing on 11/14/2017 for two Special Use Permits: retail sales of approximately 500 (!!) puppies from his HOME; the other is to operate a dog breeding operation at his FARM for 50 - 75 breeding females (the number of males is not quoted). Please help us stop this from happening! Puppy mills typically house more dogs than can be adequately cared for leaving the animals in horrendous conditions. The impact of puppy mills on every community is significant in many, many ways other than just morally. Economically, mills burden taxpayers and environmentalists. Until we can change the laws in NYS, let your voice be heard in the Town of Barrington by signing the petition!!
