A significant amount of greenbelt land has been downgraded to brownbelt all across Barnsley in order to build large amounts of new industrial units, warehouses and houses. As is happening in Hoyland at the moment, villages and communities around Barnsley will soon be decimated by building works and Wildlife habitats killed to make way for units. We believe there are enough unused/misused spaces in Barnsley and feel this destruction of our nature must stop.
