For as long as i can remember (i'm 34 now) the toilet situation has never been that great in Hoyland town centre, granted we did used to have a toilet block on the old market, it wasn't the best but it was still there non the less. 

After the market was demolished we were literally left with nothing, in hindsight it wasn't always a bad thing because at the time Hoyland stopped having much to offer and shopper's ventured elsewhere, however fast forward a few years and shoppers are slowly been pulled back in with new shops opening/available, it's making people want to shop again.....BUT ..and it's a big but, it is still very off putting for a lot because of a severe lack of toilet facilities. 

It might not seen such a big thing to many, but for the elderly, people with medical conditions, heck even just general people it i a basic human right and need! People like my Gran are too nervous to go shopping (she has a medical condition) for fear of not been able to access a toilet, people can no longer access the library or even nip into a pub (they shouldn't have to do that anyway) due to the pandemic.

Would it really be so hard to turn an old shop or anything along those lines into a toilet? Its a basic need for people, have someone man it and charge to contribute to the cost of it's upkeep if need be? 

You want to continue making Hoyland better? One simple thing like that will start bringing a lot more people out, think about it.
