The city of Barboursville has chosen to close the splash park within Barboursville City Park. This is in response to COVID-19 and social distancing. We, the people of this petition, request that the water park be opened and allow the people to choose whether or not they want to social distance themselves and their children. This was a facility built with our tax money, and for us by the City of Barboursville. We are merely requesting the opportunity to use our facilities.
