In this time, the pandemic is very rampant in the whole community, country and even if in the whole world, unity and understanding of every citizen for the betterment of our whole community is what we need. Without the unity and understanding in every citizen we will have a hard time getting our life expectations. When we do not act with this problem, all the citizens around and inside the community will become involved with it. Each of them is responsible for their actions, anywhere they go. As we all know, not all people know how to be responsible. The main problem of the citizen’s is lack of self-discipline. Some of the residents could be young enough to understand some of the things needed in the community or maybe some of them are too stubborn to listen. The residents also include the senior citizens which have many opinions and can also be single-minded at times. We are facing this problem because maybe the people who are in a higher position are not doing their obligation that they should have done. I can see that there are selfish people who are only thinking about themselves and that is one of our problems in our community. If we do not act now to improve unity and understanding, when will we act? 

            To improve these two things we need to have different acts or programs to do betterment for our community.

• First possible solution with this situation is having self-discipline. They must learn how to be responsible with the actions they do. Learning and sharing what would be better not just for themselves but also for everyone will be a big help. With this act, everyone will learn from each other.
• Barangay officials needed to have a communication with the residents to be able to hear out the opinions of other citizens. In this way, it'll be easier to understand and respect each and everyone's decisions which can lead to the betterment of the community.
• We can educate the whole community so that they can learn and be open minded on the different situations of the community.
• Communication is really important especially in a community because it can improve the relationship between the residents and the barangay officials and with this act they can achieve the unity that we need.
• If we want to think about the solution to this problem we should have one goal and that is for having a better community. 

As a high school student, maybe you will think that we are just small voices to help improve a community but even though we are just students we know we can do something for our community. We care about this situation because:

1. This can help not just the students like us, but also everyone around the community.
2. We’re one of the people who lives in a community and we want to contribute something to the betterment of it.
3. We’re affected by this situation too so we don't want to just let it worse, there is some part of us that said that we should do something about this problem because we were also involved in it.
4. Being involved with this situation, it will lessen danger and harm to all of the living things inside and near the community. 
5. We are also part of it and we want what’s best for everyone. 

This petition is important to improve the community and everyone on it. It will help improve the knowledge and skills of everyone to have self-discipline, to have unity and understanding and to be responsible. It could give a sense of purpose for people and they could gain benefits like having social interaction with each other so that they could understand the circumstances in life of other members in the community. This petition can make changes where people would learn to volunteer, dedicate their time and have a broad mind-set that can make a huge difference in the lives of others. Every citizen in a community has a responsibility to make our community better so if we want to have a better community we should start to understand each other. We all know that unity gives us courage, power and strength. We can see unity even at the workplace, where team members together work to complete the target, unity always supports and helps, if the person works as a team the chance of success increases. The benefit that we can get if we achieve this petition is we can now consider each other as our strength. Also through this petition we can avoid various problems experienced by the whole community such as mental health problems that cause depression, anxiety and sometimes even the worst situation suicide.
