This petition calls for a criminal investigation of the Sheriff's Offices of Manitowoc County and Calumet County, Wisconsin regarding their handling of the Teresa Halbach murder investigation, and in the prosecution of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey, as featured in the documentary entitled "Making a Murderer." American and Wisconsin citizens, as well as those around the world, know that justice has not been served because their investigation of this murder was riddled with corruption, coercion, and conflict of interest.  Steven and Brendan's trials were not fair and were very biased.  The investigation should focus on things such as:  corruption, biased judges, Brendan Dassey's first lawyer Len Kachinsky (plus any other lawyer using their power to manipulate the outcome of their trials), police officers and detectives involved in the investigation, plus any others who were involved in planting evidence, lying on the stand in Court, and using power to manipulate the outcome of their trials. "We the People" assert that an investigation into these agencies is necessary in order to demonstrate America's commitment to restoring a sense of fairness within all justice systems within America, and to show the world that the state of Wisconsin nor our country does not stand for abuse of power NOR corruption in our society!
