Within a week of the tragic death of Cecil the beloved lion, we are hit by the heart wrenching news that another lion was killed illegally back in April by another American hunter. We are constantly receiving news on lion killings one after another. How long will we be able to bear this kind of horrific loss?

Statistically, foreign hunters export the carcasses of 665 wild African lions a year, which averages to 2 lion killings per day. If this continues, the lion population will be extinct in no time. If we urge the United States to take action in preventing the imports of lion trophies, it will immediately discourage hunters from committing this gruesome action.
