In light of Jake Paul, a previously honorary olympic coach’swoefully uneducated, sexist and transphobic comments in regards to Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif, who is a cis woman, he has exposed himself as a person unworthy of being honored with any sort of honorary title regardless of his athletic acumen.

Paul said on X, formerly known as Twitter,

“To Angela Carini although your dreams couldn’t come true today because of the crazy agendas that are at play in our world at the moment, I would love to offer you to fight on an MVP undercard, to show the world your talents on a fair platform and not against a man. Internet help this find her.”

While it is acceptable to offer a fight to a professional fighter after an Olympic loss, the pretense of it being the false and harmful accusation against Khelif that she is transgender is unacceptable

This petition calls on the IOC to bar Paul from being a coach, honorary or otherwise, in the future and condemn his ignorant remarks and subsequent doubling down upon them.
