Too many people take out pet insurance to safeguard their pets against illness or accident, only to find that insurance companies avoid payment by deeming unrelated incidents involving the same limb/body part as a pre-existing condition.  This blanket exclusion is unfair and is opinion based not evidence based.  The burden of proof should rest with the insurer and not the customer.
