Major news outlets have reported that the Bank of Canada's polymer bank notes contain tallow, a form of animal fat.

Many Canadians find this unacceptable, including vegans, vegetarians, and those who avoid animal products for religious reasons. As a vegan, I find it very disturbing that there is an animal by-product in Canadian bank notes. I, like many others, want to be able to use bank notes that are vegan-friendly.

Please sign this petition asking the Bank of Canada to remove all animal products from Canadian bank notes.
