STOP outrageous hold amounts!! Gas stations have been conducting deceptive business practices by NOT notifying consumers of hold amounts when purchasing gas with credit cards, cash cards, and debit cards.

Consumers are UNAWARE of the fees ranging from $175-$200!! Gas stations DO NOT have signs POSTED to convey or provide notice of such high hold amounts prior to the transactions! It’s only AFTER the purchase that consumers become aware of the high HOLD amounts leaving them to wait several days not including weekends/holidays to have the hold lifted. This imposes a hardship for some consumers and an inconvenience to others.

Let’s STOP these UNFAIR business practices. Contact the Consumer Affairs Division in your state AND sign the PETITION here! You deserve to have choices as a consumer and to make informed decisions.
