Extend the waived transfer fees for BDO, BPI and other large PH banks

The Issue

Banks should encourage their customers to use their online platform to avoid physically going to the bank and further spreading the virus (with the PH having 300k+ cases).

By waiving the transfer fees, this is already a big help for Filipinos who rely on online banking.

Starting October 1, BDO and BPI will resume charging fees. (BDO: ₱25; BPI: ₱50).

Other major banks have already extended their waived transfer fees. BDO and BPI should do the same as they are one of the leading banks in the Philippines.

With BDO having issues with its online banking recently (and just in time for payday), it is not justifiable for them to resume charging fees.

Banks should never monetize online transfers in the middle of a pandemic.
