I believe spongebob would be a great fit for the Super Smash Bros series. Let's face the facts; Spongebob doesn't feel physical pain (it actually tickes him), he can regrow or grow extra limbs on command, has a great ability to drive destructively, and can shapeshift. So many moves can be made off of these statistics. One move could be a wheel made of his own extra arms to pummel opponents. Another could be him throwing his arm like a boomerang. Want one that focuses on something other than his supernatural limb generating abilities? Ok, ok... What if he could absorb a blow and deflect the force of it back on an opponent?

Whenever we talk about Spongebob, we can't forget that he is more than just his abilities. The Sponge is a Bubble Blowing Artisan. He has literally created intelligent life from his magic bubble wand. This provokes a new form of skill: Bubblomancy. He can make just about anything you can imagine with bubbles. Theres something to be said about creating intelligent life from bubbles alone in the depths of Bikini Bottom. Typically, bubbles are formed by a liquid trapping gas. This leads us to think that Spongebob is so much more than a sponge. What kind of gas does he use? Could be explosive. Could be toxic. Could be corrosive. Could be something only the great minds at Nickelodeon, Bandai Namco Studios, and Nintendo are able to determine.
