As a concerned member of the West Lafayette community, I am writing this petition to address the growing issue of VEO bikes on Purdue University's campus. These electric bikes have become a nuisance and safety hazard for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists alike. I have personally witnessed numerous instances where people misuse these VEO bikes, completely disregarding road rules and putting others at risk. Just last week, while biking to class on, I had to dodge a VEO bike that was carelessly left in the middle of the bike lane. This not only caused inconvenience but also posed a serious hazard.

Furthermore, these bikes are often irresponsibly placed in front of bike racks or obstructing bike lanes.
