Le problème

I am writing this petition after a heart-wrenching experience in Agafay Desert - Morocco, where I witnessed the cruel and unethical treatment of camels. These innocent creatures were being hit and ridden on despite their visible malnourishment and wounds. The sight of these animals yelping in pain due to tight harnesses was unbearable.

Camels are often tied down all day with only a couple of inches to move, wearing harnesses that cause wounds, metal contraptions to keep their heads upright. They're also whipped to keep moving, subjected to severe physical stress that is beyond understanding. Furthermore, they are malnourished with little access to water or food - a basic right for any living creature.

The tourism industry's use of camels needs immediate regulation. No one would like to be strapped to a pole, beaten with a stick or having no shelter and little food or water - so why should we allow these animals to suffer such conditions? It's time for us as compassionate beings stand up against this cruelty.

We need welfare laws in Morocco & other countries that use camels for a way to source income from tourism to protect these animals rather than mistreat them. Let us advocate for the rights of these camels who cannot speak up for themselves but deserve respect and humane treatment just like any other animal.

Please sign this petition today; let's put an end to the unethical treatment of camels in tourism industry once and for all!
