The feeling from other animal owners about banning private fireworks is increasing every year, yet here we are AGAIN in the same situation! Have you noticed the fireworks seem to be getting bigger and louder?!

Too many animals, be it pets or wildlife, shake and cower in fear of these loud bangs and whistles. My own cat goes into a hideaway box and doesn't come out again until they stop. Why should animals be put under stress and fear just so people can have their jolly's?! 

Our neighbouthoods are more built-up than ever before so these private household fireworks are causing more distress, not just to defensive animals, but also to people. Fireworks also get into the wrong hands and those individuals cause much distress with their anti-social behaviour.

It's about time the Government put a ban on private households letting off fireworks, and only have event firework displays on the actual event day, and the cut-off time must be 11pm.

There are now too many people calling for private fireworks to be banned for it to be ignored by the Government.

We are supposed to be a nation of animals lovers, so let's show it by signing the petition to stop these private household fireworks.
