My personal experience with IXL has been nothing short of frustrating. It has made learning more difficult for me and possibly for many others in our community. IXL, an online learning platform used by many schools across the country, is designed to help students improve their understanding of various subjects. However, its effectiveness is questionable.

The program's repetitive nature often leads to frustration rather than understanding. Instead of fostering a love for learning, it seems to do just the opposite. Many students report feeling stressed and overwhelmed due to the pressure it puts on them.

Moreover, according to a study conducted by Stanford University's Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO), online charter schools that rely heavily on digital content delivery tend not to perform as well as traditional public schools. While this study does not specifically mention IXL, it raises questions about the effectiveness of such platforms.

I believe that education should be engaging and inspiring - not stressful and discouraging. I urge our local school boards in Topeka, KS to reconsider their use of IXL or similar platforms that may hinder rather than help student progress.

Some children have suicidal thoughts. Not excluding the fact that IXL ruins a child's day. Many reviews by parents say that IXL is one of the worst apps for learning any subject at all.
