I've witnessed firsthand the distress that fireworks cause to my animals and the surrounding wildlife. Despite attempts to medicate them, they continue to struggle with the loud bangs and explosions. This is a personal plea for change, but it's not just about me or my pets - it's about all of us who value our wildlife and domestic animals.

Fireworks are becoming increasingly louder and more dangerous. They pose a significant threat not only to our beloved pets but also to all forms of wildlife. According to SPCA, 45% of dogs show signs of fear when they hear fireworks, causing immense stress and anxiety (SPCA). Furthermore, studies have shown that fireworks can disrupt bird colonies, leading them to abandon their nests (Environmental Pollution Journal).

The time has come for us as a society to reconsider how we celebrate our religious festivals or welcome in the New Year. There are alternative ways we can enjoy these moments without causing harm or distressing our animal friends.
