Since the massive rise in popularity of A.I. generated artwork many different Drum Corps within DCI have used elements made by A.I. within their shows. Many performers within the 2024 and 2025 DCI seasons were subject against their will to performing in shows that contained A.I. generated artwork on props, promotional material, and more.  The concept of A.I. generation itself is the antithesis of what Drum Corps is all about, the human performers. By cutting out artists from the show design process you are giving your performers a show with much less soul in it, which especially with the rising cost of tour fees every summer should be inexcusable. This petition seeks to have Drum Corps International put guidelines in place to stop the use of A.I. generated content on marching music's biggest stage globally and bring human artists back into the show design process.
