The manosphere consists of online communities that perpetuate anti-feminist, anti-women ideologies, toxic masculinity, and extremely harmful stereotypes. Social media platforms are not doing enough to monitor their online communities and prevent manosphere rhetoric from being spread on their platforms. They need to take immediate action to limit, remove, and simply ban any content coming from the manosphere. Doing this would help protect the youth and young adults who are online, as well as make the targets of the manosphere, women, feel safer and supported online.
