The history of the Royal City of Krakow dates back almost 800 years. It is the most recognisable Polish city internationally and the most popular tourist destination in Poland. Krakow is the cultural capital of the country, a city of literature and poetry, art and priceless architectural monuments. A city where tradition meets modernity.
Does it occur to anyone that horse-drawn carriages could be the hallmark of such a city? Can anyone think that a crowded city is a suitable place for horses? No! Especially as there are readily available electric alternatives.
In more and more cities around the world, horse-drawn carriages are being removed to where they belong - to the DUSTBIN OF HISTORY. It's high time for Krakow to join them!
