Last year, on 24th of March 2021, RBG has sent proposals for anti cyber bullying policies with one of recommendations was to set an Anti Cyber Bullying Taskforce to make recommendations and analysis of the situation to following Ministries and departments: PMO, Private Office, Ministry of Gender and Family welfare, Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, Ombudperson for children and Commissioner of Police in light of the telegram scandal.

Many innocent young girls and women are living a nightmare because of the"telegram scandal" which unfortunately has not come to end. It is all about perverted group of people who are sharing nudes, photos and videos of young girls and women and destroying the life of many.

The cases and victims are on rise and we have not yet heard of severe sanction because of complexity of the matter.

Therefore, for protection of our children, young girls and women; Raise Brave Girls is making a demand to the Government of Mauritius to ban Telegram.
