As longtime fans of Sparkling Ice, many of us have trusted these drinks as a flavorful, sugar-free alternative in our daily lives. But thousands of loyal customers — myself included — are only now realizing that these drinks contain sucralose, a controversial artificial sweetener with growing health concerns.

Scientific studies have raised red flags about sucralose’s potential to disrupt gut health, alter blood sugar responses, and even produce harmful compounds when heated. While regulatory agencies still deem it “safe” in moderation, many health-conscious consumers are choosing to avoid it entirely — and we believe we should have that choice clearly and fairly.

We call on Talking Rain Beverage Company, the makers of Sparkling Ice, to:

Remove sucralose from their formulas, or
Offer a clean-label alternative using natural sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, or no added sweeteners at all.
Sparkling Ice built its brand on being a refreshing and better-for-you drink. It's time for that promise to include truly health-forward ingredients. Consumers deserve transparency, and more importantly, safe and natural choices.
