Ban Social Media Platforms From Monetising Children

The Issue

It's time for ALL social media platforms to ACT NOW.

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and all the others are curently complicit and actively encourage the exploitation of children online.

Exposing children online carries a number of risks which include having their image explosed to predators, being exposed to the negative impact of being in the public eye and being used by their parents to make money, monetising every ounce of their child's life.

Various lawas have recently been implemented across the world to cunteract this.  However, still more needs to be done.

The tipping point MUST be the recent 8 PASSENGERS case whereby the mother Ruby Franke was arrested for horrific child abuse.

For over ten years YouTube allowed this woman a platform to monetise her children making millions of dollars and in turn making YouTube millions of dollars.  This is by no means the first instance of it's kind on YouTube.

Daddy o' Five were jailed for their child abuse which was carried out in front of millions on YouTube.

NOW THOUGH, it's time to STOP unscrupulous parents across the board who are using their own children daily to pay their mortgage, to pay their bills.  YouTube, TikTok, every platform, need to put children's safety and privacy before profits.

We believe by stopping the actual videos children appear in from being elligible to being monetised, children will not be used for such content.  These platforms need to take a zero-tolerance approach this time and with a global approach from authorities they will finally need to take action.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Please sign this petition if you would to ban social media platforms from allowing videos with children to be montised.

Thank you all so much for your support.
