BAN Sexualization of K-12 through SEL, CSE, DEI and Focus Education

BAN Sexualization of K-12 through SEL, CSE, DEI and Focus Education
The Issue
We, the undersigned, call on the state of Nevada to take immediate action to BAN Sexualization of K-12 through SEL, CSE, DEI, and Focus Education by blocking and barring the inclusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), comprehensive sex education (CSE), and social-emotional learning (SEL) in K-12 schools across the state.
As concerned parents and community members, we believe that the primary purpose of education is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed academically and in life. We are deeply troubled by the growing trend of introducing DEI, CSE, and SEL curricula in schools, which we believe is an overreach that undermines the fundamental goals of education and places an undue burden on teachers, parents, and students.
We believe that DEI, CSE, and SEL curricula are highly controversial and divisive, and have no place in our schools. These curricula promote controversial and sometimes harmful ideas about race, gender, and sexuality, and can create confusion, anxiety, and division among students. Furthermore, these curricula have been linked to an increase in sexualization and premature sexual activity among young people, which can lead to a range of negative outcomes, including increased risk of sexually transmitted infections, unintended pregnancy, and emotional distress.
We call on the state of Nevada to take action to protect our children's education and well-being by blocking and barring the inclusion of DEI, CSE, and SEL in K-12 schools across the state. We urge our elected representatives to listen to our concerns and act in the best interests of our children and our communities.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

BAN Sexualization of K-12 through SEL, CSE, DEI, and Focus Education
We, the undersigned, demand that the state of Nevada stops teaching controversial and divisive topics in our K-12 schools. We are concerned about the increasing inclusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), comprehensive sex education (CSE), and social-emotional learning (SEL) curricula in our schools.
We believe that our children's primary purpose in going to school is to learn reading, writing, math, science, and history. We want our children to be able to learn and grow in an environment that is safe, supportive, and focused on their education.
We are worried that DEI, CSE, and SEL curricula can be confusing and even harmful to our children. They can teach divisive ideas about race, gender, and sexuality that can cause anxiety and division among students. They can also expose our children to premature sexual activity, which can lead to negative outcomes, such as sexually transmitted infections, unintended pregnancy, and emotional distress.
We believe that the state of Nevada should prioritize our children's education and well-being by stopping the inclusion of DEI, CSE, and SEL in our K-12 schools. We are calling on our elected officials to listen to our concerns and act in the best interests of our children and communities.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our demands.
