The Issue

As someone who has survived predatory behavior, I understand the profound and lasting harm it causes. The pain does not end with the moment — it lingers, shaping every part of life long after the experience. Predatory behavior is not abstract or distant. It is real, personal, and affects countless individuals every single day.

Hollywood, often portrayed as a place of opportunity and creativity, also contains a darker side where predatory adults can operate without sufficient oversight. This is not an isolated issue or the fault of a few individuals — it is a systemic problem that demands immediate action. High‑profile actors and actresses, including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, are viewed as role models by millions. Their visibility underscores the urgent need for stronger safeguards to ensure that all adults working with minors or young performers are held to the highest ethical standards.

This urgency becomes even clearer when examining recent industry choices. In Deadpool Wolverine, their own young child was directed to deliver a line with explicit adult themes — a line no minor should ever be placed in the position to say on camera. Regardless of parental consent, this moment highlights a deeper systemic failure: Hollywood continues to normalize situations where minors are exposed to inappropriate material because there are no universal, enforceable protections in place. When even the children of powerful, well‑connected actors are placed in these positions, it raises serious concerns about what happens to children with far less protection, leverage, or visibility.

I am calling on key leaders in the entertainment industry — including the Motion Picture Association, SAG‑AFTRA, and major studios — to implement meaningful reforms that protect children and young adults. These reforms should include:

*Mandatory background checks for all adults working with minors
*Robust reporting systems that allow concerns to be raised safely and taken seriously
*Support services and mental‑health resources for child actors and survivors
*Training programs for actors, directors, producers, and crew on recognizing and preventing predatory behavior
*A dedicated task force to investigate allegations swiftly, transparently, and responsibly

Hollywood must become a place where talent is nurtured, not exploited. By enacting these changes, we can protect future generations from the predatory behaviors that have gone unaddressed for far too long.

As part of this effort, we are choosing to boycott actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively until Hollywood adopts real protections for minors. This is not about celebrity drama. It is about refusing to support adults who continue to benefit from a system that leaves young performers vulnerable. The boycott is a form of public pressure — a way to demand accountability and signal that audiences will no longer tolerate environments where children are unsafe.

Join me in demanding accountability, safety, and reform. Let’s protect victims, support survivors, and ensure that those who harm others are held responsible. Sign this petition to push for real change in Hollywood — and to stand against a system that has failed too many for too long.

It is time to speak out.
