Many other countries (especially Islamic countries) have made the production & consumption of porn illegal…I propose that the UK should follow their example for the safety of all. Porn is inherently disgusting and serves no benefit to the advancement of society. In fact, it has proven to make people more stupid and more desensitised to violence against women. Porn sites are barely monitored and due to this a lot of the content posted on them is extremely harmful yet the owners of these sites do not care as they’re money hungry. There have been many incidents where trafficked children have been posted on pornhub and when these victims have begged pornhub to delete their rape they’ve been ignored. This isn’t rare, a lot of the videos are revenge porn & rape of children. The other videos are extremely violent & promote abuse against women. Disgusting hashtags such as barely legal, teenage, step sister, non-consensual are also found to be trending on these sites. Extremely disgusting behaviour such as incest, rape and pedofila is encouraged on these sites. Porn addiction is dangerous and there are cases where people have committed horrendous crimes against women & children due to it. It’s time for us to put an end to pornhub in our society and protect victims. Please sign this petition for the betterment of society.
