I started this petition because I think we should get rid of paper straws and unban plastic straws and here’s why. Studies show that paper straws have more forever chemicals than plastic which means it’s harder to biodegrade. Do you really trust paper straws now? Let me tell you another reason, Did you know that paper straws emit more greenhouse gases when they rot in landfill compared with plastic straws!

 I am writing this petition to ask that…We should ban paper straws and bring back plastic straws. I’m hoping this petition will accomplish my ask, to get rid of paper straws. Do you really want to ban plastic straws? Well think again because paper straws are a menace to society. I also ask for you to support me in every step of the way. Together we can accomplish the impossible of banning paper straws! There also a bad tool, because they get soggy easily and break.

I am addressing this petition to Trudeau’s government because they are the ones who banned paper straws in the first place. They also have the power to unban plastic straws and get rid of paper straws. I really hope that Trudeau’s government agree to what I am fighting for. Together we can convince Trudeau’s government and show them what’s right!
