Ban music distributors from creating & selling weaponized Hip Hop that promotes death.

Ban music distributors from creating & selling weaponized Hip Hop that promotes death.
The Issue
On April 11th 1973, in an apartment in the The Bronx New York, Hip Hop music was born. Hip Hop music exploded because it was positive musical expressions of creative art inspiring movements that empowered communities of color, created wealth, iconic leaders, and was a much needed outlet for the people in low income inner cities. However, since around 1986, during Ronald Reagan’s second term as president, Hip Hop music shifted to promote and glorify illegal drug use, and drug sales, gang violence, murder, robbery, prostitution, and degrade women. This music has been heavily promoted on the radio through 6 figure payola marketing campaigns, and million dollar video budgets to further promote, market, and sell records that are distributed by major record labels who cross promote their artists with sports teams, the hottest brands, playoff games, comercial licensing, etc. which cultivates and perpetuates a dangerous, destructive, record label made culture that specifically targets youth in communities of color with the allure of success through the illusion of imitating made rappers with gold chains, foreign cars, women, and money. This vicious cycle leads our future generations into a lifestyle that is inevitable to an early grave, jail, or for profit prisons where inmates are forced to work and create goods for major corporations without pay. Record labels take out life insurance policies for their artists and continue to bankroll off the demise of our communities that leave mothers and fathers traumatized, families broken, children without fathers, dreams and purposes diverted, and it seems their is no end to this madness. What’s worse is that these record labels trap and deceive their artists into deals that are technically glorified loans and artists are given an advance based on future receivables with no access to audits on accounting or say so over spending in the budgets so these artists in up in debt and poor, while the record labels continue to thrive. This must stop now! The degradation of women of color who are practically selling pornographic music and videos are then placed on pedestals which is the absolute worst example of what being a woman of color represents, it’s filth and misleading our young promising daughters to believe this is the only way to become successful and accepted, yet this lifestyle only leads to low self worth, no self esteem, and self hate. The vulgar and unbecoming imagery is blasted all over YouTube, instagram, and TikToc robbing the innocence of those who see it. There are lyrics from a top female rapper who brags about beastiality, it is vile, flat out disgusting, and disturbing. Women of color are constantly being placed with animals or reptiles in extreme provocative and sexual scenarios in music videos. This is an outrageous abomination. If you agree with the statements written, please sign and share this petition. The goal of this petition is to go above the record label shareholders and bring an end to this demonic agenda to stop this cycle of weaponizing music, while holding those who are responsible for distributing it and profiting from it accountable for their role in this well thought out elaborate genocide scheme of an entire race of people. This is a hate crime at its truest definition, disguised as entertainment, deceitfully packaged as “Hip Hop culture” when in fact record labels require artists to make this music if they want to get out the hood and be successful. Ceasing the profits made from this wicked manufacturing of negatively influential sound and visuals will solve the death trap of people of color. If there is a ban on this death music, and money can’t be made, then it will end the problem and we can get back to what Hip Hop was originally intended to be. There are a plethora of artists who make amazing music that aren't being heard because major labels pay for play for their signed artists through their broad network of major media outlets, mega talent agencies, fashion houses, cosmetic brands, technology companies, social media platforms who are strategic partners that all profit off the exploitation and demise of people of color. Every time I hear or see this demonic music it is painful, de-humanizing, demoralizing, traumatic, offensive, unsuitable for any generation, insensitive, and dangerous. Every month a well known rapper dies, and several young once viable men, die in the streets. This is your chance to make a difference to reshape our world and take back control. We can collectively use our power to go over the heads of record label shareholders and take our fight to the highest court in America to put an end to this demonic agenda once and for all. Thank you for your support!
