Mid-contract price rises effect almost everyone in the UK. For example you could have a TV package, Broadband or a Phone/SIM contract. Price rises are usually based on CPI+3.9% with a few exceptions. If we were to sign up to one of these contracts, how would we know what the future CPI figure is? How would we know what our bill would increase to? How could we manage our finances in increasingly difficult conditions? The answer is, we can't. 

Not only because the UK is currently in a cost of living crisis, but together we must stand up and put a stop to unnecessary corporate greed. If we were to get change, people would have no doubt what their monthly payments would be throughout their contract, giving insight and stability to their future finances. Legalisation needs to be changed to put an end to these mid-contract hikes or to allow customers to leave penalty free.

People across the UK have less and less money in their pocket every year, however these often global companies seem to have more and more in theirs. Given the current crisis we are in, now is the time to stand up, now is the time to act and now is the time to put an end to unfair mid-contact price increases.
